My dear Mr Lukens,
I thank you for invitation to travel etc in the Sierra. I am sick with Grippe & may be glad to go into the nearest wilderness. Am still busy on forest & the Articles.
Am in Harpers weekly June 5 is out & has some of your pictures. Another will be in Atlantic for August, & still another for October
How is Mrs Carr? I heard rumors of requiring restraining care. Hope it is not true.
