[answer?] to my invitation to spend summer with us in San B. Mts
Martinez, July 5, 1898
My dear Lukens.
I thank you for the kind San Bernardino invitation which I am sorry to say I can't accept as I am busy with some promised scribbling I'm very glad to learn you are all well & that Lottie is herself again.
I hope to see the Atlantic woods this fall. Hope you'll have a fine time.
Love to Lottie & kindest regards to all the family.
Ever Yours
