Dear Emma
As we are now nearing Christmas tide I enclose this Bill to you hoping you can make it convenient to procure something for the chidlren from me hoping you will all have a very happy Christmas time I have just now been handed Mabels letter I am glad she has not forgotten me, I will write a letter to her before long
We are all in our usual health here We begin to hear a great deal about the grippe again, but I think there is none in Portage With sincere love to you all I am affectionately
