Martinez, Nov. 2, 1890.
My dear Mr. Reid:
I cannot give exact location of my 1880 camp. But it was within a few rods of that group of tree stumps near your South Station across the camp stream. And this camp was then as near the front of the glacier as I could get with dry ground. Sorry my notes are not more exact on this point. You are at liberty to use anything of mine of use to you.
