My dear Mr. Hendricks,

Mrs Muir & I will be delighted to have you & Mrs Hendricks pay us the proposed visit on the 8th. I will meet you at the station. The train gets in about 5.40 We will be at home unless something unusual should happen & nothing unusual ever does with us. Mrs Dr Strenzel will also be very glad to meet you. She is the only Democrat in the famly & as thoroughly good democrats are scarce your visit will be a great treat.

With cordial regards to Mrs Hendricks & pleasant memories of my visit to your home in the gold ravine I am
