Dear Louie,
Your letter was pushed under my door this forenoon, afternoon I mean, but Im so sleepy I hardly know which is which. I was very glad to get the news. Have got to my 100th page. Have been at the dentist this afternoon Im too sleepy even to copy anything for you tonight, & too dull everyway to compose anything more, even a letter. Its 12 oclock again though I had resolved to keep better house.
