Dear Brother John
We feel very grateful to you for your kindness. I am so glad you are coming to see us. & hope nothing will occur to hinder you. I hope Louie has got well & that you & the 'little folks' are enjoying good health. You see I am still here in Kansas. I feel as I ought to go home soon but do not like to leave John with so much house work it takes so much of his time. I am feeling much better & the children seem to be getting along all right
Kindest regards to the Doctor & Mrs Strentzel wishing
them & Louie & the children & yourself a pleasant "Christmas" & "Happy new Year' May Heavens best blessings be yours. Affectionately Maggie
