Dear Brother and Sister:
A week ago to-day Willis expressed a box for you containing pictures. I hope they will reach you uninjured. The lily picture was dusty, but I was not able to wash it off, as I was not sitting up yet. If it is washed with a bit of silk and soft tepid water the dust will disappear and the silk will leave no lint.
John, I am anxious to know your criticism on Father's face, for I have done the best I could.
We are all as well as usual. I am gaining in strength steadily but slowly. Our little daughter is doing finely. We have not yet found a name for her -- it does not seem to be an easy matter. Perhaps you might suggest one that would be liked. I shall look for a letter from you ere very long.
