Dear Louie
Your very kind and generous present came safely. for which I thank you very much. What a happy surprise we had when our dear John made his appearance amongst us so unexpectedly but his visit here was a very short one as he and David left Portage two days ago for Lincoln Neb where they will have a pleasant visit with their brother Daniel
