01142Portage Mo Sept 28/84Dear Brother John David Galloway died t-day at 12 [illegible], at the home of Jno Foster. I suppose you know that he has been very sick for a long time. for the last four or six days his death has been hourly expected. His remains will be buried at the Louden Graham cemetary in Buffalo on Tuesday 30th [inst?] They rented a nice house here & moved in but took David to Jno Foster which they was letting the house & then he died.
