My dear Wanda-
The people here who have heard so much about you all keep asking “Why did you not bring Wanda she is old enough to travel & just think what a joy it would be to grandma Muir to see her at least once. I have been feeling stupid & headachy since coming here. Yesterday I went to church with mother, & many of the old acquaintances came up & spoke to me. This country seems cold & flat compared with Cal. Ill tell you about the places & things I [saw?] when I get home. How you would enjoy Joannas children. Your loving papa Remember me to Miss Graydon
