My dear Wanda-

I got your nice letter this morning, and Helen's. I wrote to Helen last night. I am very sorry mamma is unwell and hope she will soon be better. Tell her to keep out of that windy gusty kitchen as much as possible. I don't cough at all now. I'll be home on the 4 o'clock train Saturday and will try to stay a week, and then we will not be so lonesome. I am glad to hear Grandma is better.
Helen, my dear, I don't know when Mr. Keith is coming to see you. He is quite well and is painting a great many fine pictures. Some day you and Wanda must make a visit to the city and see all the pictures in the studio. Mr. Keith would be very glad then, so glad he would not know how to behave. I'll ask him next time I see him when he is going to make you another visit, and will not forget the chocolate.
Give my love to mamma and Grandma and Miss Graydon and study your lessons and be good I was going to say, but no use saying that for you are always good and always will be. Goodbye my dear till Saturday

Your loving papa
