I have heard from John lately & he sent me a little money & he wrote that if you were still hard up to give you some of it We are all well Joanna is boarding with us & going to school Anna is at home We have got in our fall [illegible] a big one too. Did you join that lod[illegible] how are you getting along in the [illegible] are you [illegible] much? how is you intended? give her my respects & tell her Ill be the [illegible]iest brother in law she ever had. Trade has not
started yet but [illegible] expect to do some business this fall You know Mary is in Med[illegible] It rain hard today There is very little sickness here at present Hoping to hear favorably from you soon I am as ever Your Affectionate Bro David
