whereas there have been filed with the sierra Club certain complaints against the [management] of the Yosemite valley; and whereas it is the policy of this [club] to give all such complaints a fair and just hearing and investigation, and at the same time to be entire justice to the Yosemite Valley [Commission;]
Now therefore, be it resolved that a Committee of five be appointed by the President of the Club to investigate all such complaints at are now on file with the [secretary] or as may hereafter be made; said Committee to report at its earliest [opportunity] and to have full power to incur such expense as may to them seem necessary for the purpose of carrying on [the] investigations.
