Miller, George: Moscone's influence on Miller
Abstract
George Miller: I think about it a lot of times. Sometimes when I have victories. Hell, I talked to George and I talked to my father a lot. I really credit George with giving me a set of values and principles to carry me into public life. Had I gone into public life not having spent time with George Moscone, whether it was driving him back and forth to Sacramento, or vacationing with him and Gina and the kids, at Sea Ranch and just spending that time in Washington. How crazy he was with the kids. Being a legislative family. I think I would have had a less successful career than I have. It was an amazing performance to be part of and to watch.
