Bagley, Bill: Moscone's legacy
Abstract
Bill Bagley: George was a star. He was an acknowledged, admitted, proud Liberal Democrat. I don't think anyone has ever in the past, up until now, probably forever, represented San Francisco as a true San Franciscan. Someone born, raised, schooled, played baseball, played basketball with the guys, comes out in North Beach, Italian. He represented San Francisco as the epitome of what, in those days, was a San Franciscan.
