Wilson, Pete: Moscone legislation
Abstract
Pete Wilson: George Moscone was a very attractive young guy. He was not only handsome, but he had a great deal of charm about him. It was really difficult not to like George. He had a winning personality. He was pleasant to be with. He was fun to be with. I think that we probably disagreed profoundly on a number of issues, but I always enjoyed his company. He was the kind of person where you could have a spirited debate. A good debate because he was extremely bright. He was a good lawyer, prepared. That’s as it should be. That’s the kind of debate that you want to see on floor of the legislative arena.
