Waller, Pansy: Impression of Moscone

Abstract

Pansy Waller: When I first met George Moscone I just thought that he was an amazing, amazing person. He had a very warm disposition. He had a lot of charisma. When he would walk into a room everyone would know that he had arrived, and that he was there. He gave everyone the time of day. He would take his time. Like I had a lot of volunteer ladies that were just there. As soon as he would come in the room they would just swarm him, and he was very patient and tolerant, and he would go around shaking hands with all of them or [petting] them on the cheek or whatever. He was just a very warm person.
