In January 2020, the University of the Pacific Libraries, in collaboration with University Park World Peace Rose Garden and Grupe Commercial Company and with funding provided by Pacific's Beyond Our Gates, hosted a Messages of Peace event on campus in the University Library. This collaborative event was focused on performing outreach with the Stockton community, inviting middle schoolers from a local public school to visit campus and engage in active discussion and co-creation of Messages of Peace.
