Description
Photo from Dimen Village of Wu Mnci beating the fell, or the edge of fabric just woven, with the weaver's sword after the weft is pulled through the natural tabby shed on a backstrap loom. The warp ends in the middle have been raised where they would normally be pushed down. Wu Mnci has picked them with the weaver's sword from the top warp layer and has added them to the warp from the bottom layer. This has resulted in a white block breaking the black stripe that forms when no warp ends are added.
