Description
Photo from Dimen Village of a lease cross on a backstrap loom. The metal shed rod separates the warp into two layers. A weaver's sword is inserted n the counter shed to keep the bottom layer of warp at the top. She will attach a loop to each warp thread on that layer creating a tabby heddle.
