Description
Photograph from Liping of Qiao Street from an elevated view from steps showing closely built building and very clean walkways and streets. Ming and Qing dynasty architecture design can be seen on the roof and buildings. Near the steps, the porch of the building has a woman crouched with red bag in hand and in front of her is a flat circular basket with dried red peppers. Children are standing next to her, as they are looking at passersby on the steps below. Clothes are hanging to dry on a string attached to the building and a pole. Red lanterns are hanging from the lower roof of this building. People are walking or gathered together on the sidewalk and cars or motorized bikes parked along the street.
