Description

Photo from Dimen Village of a close-up of the threads that Wu Gaitian is weaving into a drawstring. Two heddles held in shafts are intersecting the colorful threads being made into a drawstring. The heddles on the left have pulled the top warp threads up while the heddles on the right have pulled the warp threads down. The opening between the two layers is called a shed. To the left of the two heddles, a secondary heddle lifts extra warp threads up.
