Description
Photo from Dimen Village of a close-up of the threads that Wu Gaitian is weaving into a drawstring. Two heddles held in shafts are intersecting the colorful threads being made into a drawstring. The heddles on the left have pulled the warp threads down while the heddles on the right have pulled the warp threads up. The opening between the two layers is called a shed. Wu Gaitian is pulling on a secondary heddle up and lifting a warp thread with it. She is inserting a sword underneath it.
