All bodies may be comprefsed [compressed] by sufficient force. The comprefsibility [compressibility] of bodies is their susceptibility of having their atoms brought nearer each other.
All bodies may be reduced in volume by prefsure [pressure] or nearly in all cases by a removal of heat.
The modified results of cohesion are Hardnefs [hardness] Bitternefs [bitterness] Flexibility Tenacity [malleability] and [ductility]
