Rock Lava unbroken Spring SE of Elk Flat 8 ms [miles] above Huck [Huckleberry] Val [Valley] 50 yds [yards] unbroken -- 75 yds [yards] in all Water continuous but not sheeted vivid green of bowlders by yellow-ish moss & lichen & other plants green, foamy mats on all boulders. above water & beneath Curious effect of such green in swift powerful current [Time] for adjustment-equality uniformity of flow also temp [temperature]. enters riv [river] nearly at right angles to dir [direction] of channel or nearly S-ward [southward]
