Gl [Glacier] polish on walls in many places at falls S [South] side & lower

The S [South] wall from Fall to up [upper] end of val [valley] is very picturesque. More so than any portion of Yo Sem [Yosemite] wall of equal extent. Gothic pks [peaks] well developed, Tis [Tissiack] v [very] impressive

& same as Yo [Yosemite] in gen [general] form has copper stains green

[sketch:] mirror Lake

Another Tis [Tissiack] higher when large N [North] trib [tributary] comes in equivalent to Tenaya Fork a mag [magnificent] rock

The view up this N [North] Fork from trail is very fine exactly like Tenaya
