Tuolumne (Glaciers) The gls [glaciers] of South Fork San Joaquin are small & lie at about same alt [altitude] as those of Mt Lyell
[This] [ ] some fine gls [glaciers] on head of Mid [middle] Fork, have seen two at sist [distance] from Minarets
(Avalanche)
The walls of South Fork more swept by avas [avalanches] than those of Tuol [Tuolumne] than any I have seen
