88 6th A slight sprinkling of warm rain Clouds all [around] the walls standing about as if anxious to be employed Craggy & spiny The Cath [Cathedral] [group] & the [cave] this side is a favorite lounging place for clouds before & [after] storm When set a crawling & [squirming] by a sudden gush of sunshine [Then] are [ ] beautiful [glowing] whiter than snow El Cap [Capitan] is often thinly veiled from top to base by delicate gauze Starr King is often crowned with cloud at times wrapping the whole cone warmly in [fleshy] folds at other times a level bar is pushed down leaving the top [bare] & sunlit but [no] rock is so caressed & fondled by clouds [as] Tis [Tissiack]
