56 Band of developed N S seams cross can[yon] here from wall to wall & to top end of [B’y] Can[yon] 4th cascade v[ery] fine 30 or 40 ft. Is close joined to 5th wh[ich] is sublimely simple yet deeply varied in its finer features. Seems to come from densest thicket of [ ] Lake Tamarac.
