Summit of Gl fountain 9600. Finely formed & opening directly into Can between Grand Mtn & Middle Rocks. Now only snow. Grand trib once overflowed it. Then later passed on right side & united in Main Can Glac [combining] of Lake hollow passed on left. Lake on E side grand Mtn 9200 cldy. Will Spruce on W edge Lake Hollow 19 ft 7 in circumference, growing at alt 9250 occupying an angle formed by two small confluent streams [sketch] coarse shallow drift.
