Aug 4 Fine trip to dome top 4 ms from camp in middle of Dome Dam 600 ft h ? or 500 rainy grand effect clds on mtns. Boulders on top protecting surface little denudation as yet 2 [ ] much still polished crystals quartze & feldspar make up mass of rock many potholes – few trees – contorta dwarfed grand view over Tuol domed region up Coness val, head of Tuol Can etc
