55 Willow banks, crooked with snow willow be, 5 clustered pines, lumined with horned trunk full of light. Jagged spires of light escaping, long prisoned flakes falling empty of [sunlight ] choosing bed, bowers with pillow tuft of phyllodoce, open lake bank with trees on either side, grow with open sky bosom, with face to the open starry bosom of the sky, among pine burrs Family [friendly] clumpy thickets [mag] solid dark surrounding night a fire for sun making a small day for myself, from [sin] fragments gathered before I was born. Tree on fire Black Hawk 56 Womb lakes on it side mostly seen from high mtn are gleaming everywhere smooth & [shing] like fallen moons Willows tree etc. fall low every winter under the gentle snow acknowledging the great [annual] [ ] of the sun The sun the great single primary expression of God in the universe [sketch: Hoff range deep can here, Fork of Tuolumne ice]
