March Monday 18, 1895 Fair
Tuesday 19 Fine shower about ¼ inch
Wednesday20 Fine morning after the rain. At work making new road, or rather patching old one over to Rodgers place.
Thursday 21 Went to S.F. [San Francisco] Dull & cold in the morning. Rain by the time I got to the city. Dull, windy drizzly. In driving home from Martinez was chilled & nearly choked & blinded by the fiercely driven rain-laden blast could hardly urge my discouraged horse against it. Subscribed for 10 shares stock in the New Valley R.R.
