All surrounded by rough but not jagged heathy slate mtns [mountains]. ice sculpt [sculpted] into bold plain forms remarkably massive. Show ice action on grand scale considerable local action Have just come over on coach from Windermere Charming ride. dull & slightly rainy day. Have visited Wordsworths & Coleriges graves. & Dorothy's & the childrens, -- plain headstones Wordsworths, Coleriges [on] upright white marble cross Wordsworths plain upright slabs -- graves covered by flat
