Waxy yellow brown bark of yearling shoots each leaf set on small projection of the bark. leaves curved [inward] all round the stem ½ to 1 inch long cones. Yellowish green tinged with purple at tips. [Scales] feathering fringed [bracts] purple at base, half as long as scales. [seed wings] purple [sketch: inside cross section of leaf]
