The Hon Sec. assures me that he will see [illegible] the whole is finished without delay. Please accept my thanks for the Article. which is very interesting. The sketches are very fine and will form a valuable addition to the report. Thant of the large glacier from Mount Fa[illegible] is particularly fine.I read a letter from the "[illegible]" yestreday he is at Tuscon A.[illegible]. and I judge in a very bad state of health. his mother was telegraphed for and is now with him, she says he has been very near "passing his checks" and had been compelled [illegible] I fear his term will soon expire
