[in margin: 805] 00797 Alhambra June 18th, 1878.Dear Friend. I suppose you are now preparing to leave for your long summer journey over the mountains and the desert. But why do you go away and risk your life among those murderous Indians when you might just as well remain at home in peace and comfort with your many friends. At least wait awhile until there is good prospect of the war troubles being ended.
