2621 Haste StJanuary 23, 1914.BerkeleyCal.My Dear Mr. Muir;Mrs. Whitney (my teacher) read us your book of Stickeen and it was very interesting. I am one of the Berkeley Elementary School pupils and we thought we would write to you. I am sending a picture that I drew of Stickeen on the sliver bridge and you trying to help him up the high bank. I was so sorry to hear that Stickeen was stolen, and I hope he has a happy home now as he did when he went on that trip. I hope you will write to me and if you should have any little picture of Stickeen I would very much lik to have one and if you haven't maybe you could draw me a little tiny picture of him.
