Bri[illegible] who fought for the Hetch Hetchy so hard in the Brooklyn Standard-Union (he owns it) is going to California. If you'd like to see him I'll give him a card to [you?]. I dont want to bore you.[2]the Institute for which I have raised the money $1000. I can raise money for anything or anybody except myself - and the Lord knows I need it this year.Burroughs speaks with solicitude of you - eager for news of you. I may get up to his Roxbury N.Y. place by Sept 1. in the hope of meeting there his friend Henry Ford, the automobile manufacturer and getting him to be one of the ten founders of the Academy at $100,000 each. I am putting in the summer at that work.It is lovely here and the Atlantic sends greetings to the Pacific!
