[14 Sep 1914](Copied from fragment marked Y-11)Dear friends:I returned last evening from my three reviving days in the Shasta pine woods. Of course I'm better and ready to see yon and Ellen is any day that best suits your plans. Count on three days for a letter to reach me in this out of the way postal place or one to two days for a telegram. She Santa Fe morning train reaches the Ferry Station foot of Market about eleven o'clock. Here is a lively characteristic Dickey letter from Switzerland which I am sure yon and Ellie will enjoy. What do you say to running up here next Sunday in your auto. Our little valley is now beautiful and I think you would enjoy the trip. After your long eventful wanderings, indefinitely long like a geological period, a month's rest would seem short.Ever your affectionate friend,J.M.05847
