CaliforniaMartinez, July 20. 1896My dear PapaToday is cool and delightful, a little foggy and with a fine west breeze blowingWe receive your letters from Helena and the Yellowstone and the dear little flowers that were with them. I wish that I could see some of the blue-fringed genetians growing and the geysers and all the other things that are in the big kitchen where the water is always boiling. Mama says that would just suit her, she would like a place where the boiling water never fails!04881
