As far as I haveheard from the family out here, we are all about as usual. Iam now very busy writing a book on Alaska. I hope that sometime next spring I shall have the pleasure of sending you a firstvolume of my autobiography entitled My boyhood and youth", whichwill recall, my dear cousin, the time when you used to torment mewith kisses on the stone stairs when I was going up to grandfathersto learn my lessons.Enclosed you will find $100.
