Daggett, Cal. June 17, 1911.Dear Papa:-This has been another pretty hot day, but we are not minding it quite so much now. Little Muir dosent seem to feel it but part of the time he is rather fussy with his guns. However he sleeps and eats well and keeps right on gaining, he now weighs a little over 14 pounds, and is so pretty and bright and always ready to smile. Buel has him out on the porch showing him things and he enjoys that. He still likes to go in the hammock and watch the cottonwood leaves. We got him a little go-cart a few days ago and now I can wheel him up and down the porch and not get so tired as I do carrying him.Write when you can. With lots of love,Helen05044
