If you take a magnifying glass & look at the prints through it you will be able to recognise the Gentleman sketching beside a splendid specimen "Pino Pinon [diacritic]" tree as it is named out here as you will see by the cutting I enclose herein taken from a copy of the book "Agricultura Practica"This tree was photograph'd in a place about four miles farther into the Cordellera from where we were "Tolhuaca" only, that photo must have been taken by some Excursionist to the Tolhuaca Baths, place where we were in, was the central part of Tolhuaca. I will try & send you the new prints by the end of September.
