[2]trip and that you are so well. I wish we could be with you and are anxious to hear all about the wonderful things you have seen for we have enjoyed your letters so much. The only trouble is that there are not enough of them and that they are too short.We are all well here and had a most delightful Christmas for the boys were old enough this year to get wildly excited over their toys and to enjoy the Christmas tree and everything that was going on tremendously and we had lots of fun watching them[1]Martinez Dec 30th [1911]Dear Papa,Helen says that in her last letter from you that you gave Cape Town as your next address so I am trying sending this letter there in the hope that you will get it some time.Your casual remark in your letter from Santiago, Chile, that you were about to start for South Africa quite took my breath away for South America and South Africa both seem awfully big to include in one trip.When do you expect to see this part of the world again?
