And now you are working hard, and I wonder whether you are remembering to eat enough? I suspect you of often forgetting food. Where do you suppose I have been2 [3]for the last two weeks? In Los Angeles. The house there has been as empty as yours, for I locked the door and left it when I came away from it last June, without even a care-taker to inhabit it.H[illegible] Ellie and I (she was with me) found it rather amusing to range about it this time and know there was not another creature in it at night.Ellie got our breakfast and we ate it on the veranda.
