[letterhead]July 30 - 10My dear Bade [diacritic]:That was a stunning editorial enclosed in yours of 22nd. Read it to Parsons & Mr. Forbes at lunch to day & they agreed with me that it was mighty effective - directly to the point & will do a world of good.I feel guilty in not writing to you sooner but I simply could not get time with the outing on my hands. I have been trying to carry two men's work & as a consequence have been forced to eliminate temporarily many things I should have done. I know you will appreciate & pardon my silence. We will settle the amount owing you06293
