Dr Mrs H & Marian, Here's a charming morning calm sunshine & frost. "glorious Hooker weather" I said as I looked out of my den window & saw a superb growth of white crystal ice-ferns adorning the tin roof. Fine for Marian, this with holiday rest will drive away the tickly stragglers of the flocks of small couch folk to other pastures or perhaps to other worlds. Now I suppose it's time for holiday greetings, mostly easily said. But for those most loved, no words good enough have yet been invented, so I'll just wish you god luck for the New Year & all the years & foreverSo devoutly prays your friendJ. M.Jan. 1, 191004678
