Martinez, Feb. 21, 1910Dear Mr Mills:I'm heartily with you in your plan for a National Park in Colorado. Our great nation needs far more parks & I think you will succeed by keeping the public attention upon the region by descriptions in the press which you so well know how to write. I think both the President & Sec. Ballinger would be glad to reccommend the establishment of a grand play & recreation ground & refuge for wild life. I'm glad to congratulate on the success of your fine wild book & sincerely thank you for the dedication I read the copy you sent me through at a sitting & never dreamed I had failed to acknowledge it Go ahead & write another & believe me ever faithfully yoursJohn Muir[in margin: will call attention of the Sierra Club to the proposed new park J.M.]
